It’s been announced on Facebook, so it’s only right to announce it on our blog: our webstore has officially launched! You can get all your favorite Evolue products delivered to your front door! Shipping as always is free and we love to answer questions, so feel free to email or call the store!

Not only is Evolue always improving the products that we sell and put on our shelves but so is Jane Iredale. The fabulous company is improving the formula AND packaging for their lip glosses which hit stores this week. Yes we have the new glosses at Evolue, so come and get them while they last!

Jane Iredale has taken away some of the shades that we have grown to love but there shouldn’t be any tears shed, because they’re rolling out all new shades (while keeping some favorites) and the packaging is a definite improvement. While they had the former glosses in squeezable tubes, the new glosses are housed in hard cylinder containers that we think are more purse friendly.

Another new edition to Evolue from Jane Iredale are their Liquid Mineral Foundation. While we still believe Jane Iredale has the best pressed powder foundation out there, sometimes a girl just needs a little bit of liquid gold in her life. The cool thing about this product? It looks like tiny beads in the packaging and has aloe in the formula to help hydrate your skin while making it flawless and fabulous.

Debbie Leavitt of Sheswai Lacquer is bringing spring to us early by adding 3 new shades to her already fabulous line.

While the weather in LA is allowing us to break out the dresses and sandals, that means we need to start  paying attention to the small details and let’s start with our nails!

Sheswai Lacquer’s three new shades include For Real, Ladylike and Dig It and here’s what we think of them:

For Real is an extremely light colored pink shade that screams spring and Easter to us. It’s for those days when you’re drinking mimosas at brunch with your ladies or hosting a mani-pedi, mother-daughter event. This bone-pink is all about a delicate femininity and gets us giddy just talking about it.

Ladylike is a great pink that brings a smile to your lips when you’re staring down at your nails. Perfect for the office or date night with someone that gives you butterflies. It’s demure yet captivating… something women have always been told to be. To take this color to the next level, think about using an accent color or a pop of glitter to the tips.

Dig It is clean cut grass, a day at the park and the color of spring. When everything is in bloom and you’re ready for shorts, happy hour on a patio and joining friends for a concert in the park, Dig It will be the color to get you in the mood for adventurous fun.

While it might not always seem like LA has a winter, there are consequences of the up and down weather of this lovely city. While you’re layering on the clothes one day and in a sundress the next, your skin and hair are going through their own changes and we’re here to tell you how to help them.

May was kind enough to perform around 15 to 20 mini facials on women who made appointments or just so happened to drop by.  She barely had time for a break, which makes her wonder woman to us and everyone walked away vibrant and relaxed.

Not only were women offered mini facials, but they got to browse the shop and enjoy a glass of sangria or cucumber water. Naturally the weather in January became fantastic the weekend we decided to hold an event, which meant open doors, sundresses and gorgeous skin for everyone who stopped by.

Her entire line is now in store and online and we can’t wait to tell anyone and everyone about how wonderful it is.

From her Clean Dirt to the Good Stuff, you can’t go wrong with her products. They smell divine and leave your skin tingling with excitement and looking better than ever. We’ve never seen anything like May’s line before which is why we’re so excited to have met her and carry it in Evolue.

While we’re still working hard and diligently on acquiring new products to stock but we’re working on the website- it’s long overdue for an update. We are adding a webstore (finally) so that it’s easier for you to get our wonderful brands into your bathrooms. We’re also trying our best to update our social media presences (we’re on Pinterest now! and trying to update our Instagram). We know, we know: it’s hard work but someone’s gotta do it!

Not only is the website getting a facelift, but we’ve decided to change our store hours once the new year is upon us. Instead of being open until 7:30pm, we’ll be closing the shop at 6pm- an hour and a half difference isn’t that big, right? With the addition of the webstore, it should be easy to buy your favorite products, if not you can call and we’ll help you over the phone.
